WorkSite provides basic workflow capabilities out of the box, and also integrates with the MetaStorm BPM application to provide comprehensive workflow automation functionality. The features provided allow users to define the process for different engagement types using a diagramming interface. Tasks can be assigned and the progress tracked as the different steps to the engagement are completed.

Portal -- 5 Stars

The WorkSite Web application provides the ability to publish documents for secure access by the client. In addition, clients can upload files to the portal. You can also configure the portal to display information from other applications, i.e. A/R aging from your practice management software. WorkSite also integrates tightly with SharePoint Portal Server.

Pricing/Value -- 4 Stars

Pricing is based on the number of users and starts at $399 per user. The pricing is ultimately determined by the depth of functionality required and the complexity of the required IT infrastructure (multi-office, multi-server configurations will be more expensive). An annual maintenance fee of 18 percent is assessed, which includes technical support and software updates. Interwoven offers a comprehensive array of professional training and consulting services.

Summary

Interwoven offers a very comprehensive solution that provides all of the necessary functionality to create a digital practice model. While the system can be deployed in small firms, the primary target market is firms with 10 or more employees.
