Steve Strauss (Vice President, Finance & Administration for Thomson Creative Solutions - pictured) talks to Executive Editor Greg LaFollette about the expanding role in Thomson in regards to payroll services. About one-third of accounting firms prefer never to do payroll, but with the new payroll services these firms can now offer a solution to their clients that is easy for them. And all the while, the accountant maintains the relationship with the client instead of a third-party payroll provider.
