Celerant Command Retail from Celerant Technologies is a sophisticated, fully integrated real-time retail management system. More than just a point-of-sale (POS) product, Celerant offers users a series of integrated modules designed to make larger retail stores run smoothly.

EASE OF USE:
Celerant Command Retail contains an intuitive user interface in all its modules. The POS transaction entry screen allows for scanning of items into the system automatically or for entering product codes manually. Options to the right of the POS interface include the following: lookup of items, viewing of the item menu, viewing of product styles (a must for apparel retailers), changing locations, price check and access the style list. Any items entered are displayed across the user interface screen and can be updated, edited or deleted as needed.

The POS interface is highly customizable so system buttons and tabs can be arranged where desired; unused buttons can be hidden. Command Retail’s POS interface also handles other vital tasks, such as processing layaways, special orders and item returns. All transactions entered are processed in real time so inventory totals always reflect accurate information.

MODULES & SCALABILITY:
The program is platform independent and can be run on Windows, Macintosh, Linux and UNIX, or a combination thereof. Available modules include the POS, Inventory, Warehouse, Integrated e-Commerce, Purchase Orders and Transfers, Physical Inventory, Sales Back Office, Reporting and Analysis, Data Mining, Open to Buy and Planning, CRM and Buying Clubs, and Financials. The financials module also contains an export function to various third-party applications, including QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Sage Software’s MAS 90 and MAS 200.
Command Retail is very scalable and allows for the purchase of only the components needed today, with the ability to easily add modules when necessary. The Java platform upon which it is built allows for flexibility and customization capability rarely found in other software products.
