Sage Timberline Office with Property Management is a high-end software product that provides integrated accounting functionality and easily supports multiple property types including multi-family, residential, commercial, and industrial, along with special use properties.
INTERFACE/EASE OF USE -- 4.5 Stars
Sage Timberline Office is not a program that can be up and running in hours.
Because of the complexity of the product, installation and system setup should
be completed by a skilled network administrator.
The cornerstone of Sage Timberline Office’s system navigation is the Desktop, a customizable home page where users can access all Sage Timberline Office applications, along with third-party applications and selected web pages. Users can easily add frequently used functions and specific tasks, including reporting options, to the ‘My Tasks’ area. A drop-down menu bar is at the top of the Desktop user interface. To the left is an expandable vertical menu that offers access to specific modules and functions. In the center of the Desktop, users can view user-selected data such as occupancy levels, pending activity, cash flow reports, AP and AR balances.
Users can select their default home page by clicking in the Tools option function, and then browsing to select the file and page type they wish to display. During setup, Sage Timberline Office allows for as much detail as desired, and users can enter only the necessary information and add the balance later. The setup wizard will assist users when entering data. All data-entry screens contain drop-down menus with icons below that provide access to features within that module.

Sage Timberline Office offers a complete financial management software solution,
including specialized modules designed specifically for the property management
industry, including real estate developers, real estate managers, and residential
builders and developers. Core modules included with Sage Timberline Office include
GL, AP, AR, Billing, Cash Management, Payroll and a Financial Statement Designer.
The Property Management module completes the package and contains a residential
management application that offers on-site managers the ability to track and
maintain property-level activity and maintain better control over their property.
Sage Timberline Office offers more than 50 modules that can be purchased as needed, including Project Management, Estimating, Production Management and Construction modules. The lease management application is designed to handle all types of leases, from basic rental leases to more complex multiple leases per tenant and multiple units per lease. Its customization capability makes it easy to handle any type of lease that may need to be administered.
